Drains and Cleanouts

Drains are pipes or channels designed to carry wastewater and other liquids away from sinks, showers, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures in a building. They direct this waste to either a municipal sewer system or a septic tank. Drains are essential for maintaining hygiene and preventing water damage by efficiently removing used water and waste from your home or building.

Cleanouts are special access points installed in a drainage or sewer system. They are typically capped pipes or fittings that allow plumbers or homeowners to access the inside of the drain pipes for cleaning, inspection, or removing blockages. Cleanouts usually have a removable plug, screw cap, or sealed cover, which can be opened to insert cleaning tools, rods, or cameras.
